Priorities & Principles

Students cannot learn if they are overwhelmed or unsupported. I support evidence-based, age-appropriate mental health practices that help students regulate emotions, stay engaged in school, and succeed academically. For me education is much more than grades it is also a healthy life.

Healthy students become successful students.

Students with disabilities have bright futures ahead of them, and they deserve a district that fully believes in their potential.

I will:

  • Support meaningful integration of neurotypical and neurodivergent students
  • Advocate strongly for paraeducators
  • Support parents navigating the special education system
  • Work to retain and recruit excellent special education teachers

Every child deserves opportunity.

Public education must evolve to meet the needs of today’s students.

I support:

  • Focused instruction in reading, math, science, and history
  • Meaningful arts education
  • Expanded vocational and career pathways
  • Clear curriculum transparency
  • Classrooms that emphasize critical thinking — not political agendas

Education should prepare students for the real world they are entering. Furthermore

We cannot teach inclusiveness if we are not inclusive with our own community.

I will:

  • Be accessible to families and staff
  • Encourage community engagement
  • Support open, transparent decision-making
  • Foster respectful dialogue

A school board should serve the public openly and honestly.

Every dollar should serve students.

I support:

  • Clear, accessible budgets
  • Outcome-based decision-making
  • Long-term financial sustainability
  • Responsible stewardship of taxpayer funds

Families deserve to know their tax dollars are being used wisely.
